Lilac anyone?

After having featured the first shade (Pink-a-Boo third from left) of Essie's Resort Collection at the beginning of the week, I wanted to show you yet another shade that could be a favourite among polish wearer's this season.  This delicate shade of mauve goes by the name "She's Picture Perfect", in keeping with the theme of photography for this particular collection by Essie.
Whereas Pink-a-Boo had a subtle glimpse of shimmer to it, She's Picture Perfect is a solid cream.
These are the products I always use before & after my manicures.  First step:  remove all previous nail lacquer and wash hands thoroughly afterwards.  Second step: wait a few hours before applying TIPS Nail Conditioner to nails and cuticles.  This conditioning treatment will replenish the lipids, that are the cement holding the cells together and creating strong, yet flexible nails.  It will also fortify and hydrate the cuticles that take an awful beating.  TIPS Nail Conditioner will protect and prevent your nails from yellowing if properly.  Third step - very important - wait again after applying TIPS to your nails, because oil and paint will never mix, so there is absolutely no adhesion if you apply polish shortly after treating your nails with TIPS.  It is best to wait some hours.
My right hand after removing polish and applying TIPS Nail Conditioner.
3 coats of Essie's "She's Picture Perfect" and to keep the cuticles nicely supple and conditioned, I applied TIPS Nail Conditioner around my cuticles a few hours after my manicure.

Have you all entered the "LUV U 2" Giveaway by ASK Cosmetics?  You AND a deserving loved one could win the entire selection of ASK Cosmetics nail, skin and hair care products worth over $150 CAD.  Sorry nail polish fanatics - we are not including the Nailwear by ASK Cosmetics this time, but next time for sure!  This giveaway ends May 13th, 2012 and is open internationally as all the contest, giveaways and sweepstakes from this company are.
