How I shop at Taobao.

I received too many emails and formspring questions asking how I shop at Taobao.
I used to be a retard at this so I understand how you feel.

Nobody actually taught me how to buy from Taobao, but some followers told me that a certain agent is a good Singapore Taobao agent.
The reason why I don't want to reveal which agent I use is because I'm afraid that their agent fee is a tad bit more expensive (I have yet tried other agent, this is the only agent I'd tried.). Also, I can't be 100% sure with you that it is definitely safe and is problem-free.
I spent around $40 below for my first try. I didn't want to spend a lot because I couldn't trust this agent since I haven't purchased anything with their help yet.

Apparently, agent is something that will help you purchase from overseas websites. You can't purchase directly from Taobao as we don't have china bank card or something. Taobao doesn't have paypal and everything else that we have, so it's not possible to purchase directly from there.
An agent will help us purchase from that country, and ship over to Singapore for you.
Hence, you need to pay them an agent fee for helping you do all that, and also shipping fees.
This is just MY OWN explanation. Like, that's what I know.

Now, on to Taobao.
Many asked how to search from the search bar if you don't read chinese.
Actually, there are some pictures on the site, you can click on them if you like.
I usually browse by seeing the pictures as well because I don't like reading those small chinese words.
If you want to be more specific, you can still type English on the search bar!
Or maybe google translate what you want into Chinese and paste it at the Search bar!

For Singapore Taobao Agent, you can google "Singapore Taobao Agent" and there will be lots of results. Check which is more trustable. Perhaps you'll like to do a 'test' try first.

AND THAT IS ALL I DO lol.
Very simple & kind of scary 'cause it's not exactly 100% safe. Depends on the seller, really.

Advantages for shopping on Taobao is that the stuff there are REALLY CHEAP. By cheap I mean it is REALLY cheap. Like $5 for a super nice Japanese-looking top. With shipping it will be around $8? I don't know but it's still very affordable and worth it.

Disadvantages are you don't know how the item will look like. Also, the seller might be fake or something. AND it takes pretty long. Shipping might be quite expensive as well.

So....

Good luck, bye!
