~I believe that everyone is born pretty in their own way and beauty is not superficial~

Well coming to the Beauty segment today, i asked the Skincare girl on the block 'Raaga' to share some of her beauty secrets with me and my blog friends. Which she did and came up with some home-made peels  *.*
Now i could never think of something like that...
So lets welcome her and let her do the talking~

Heya Pretty ladies!!
Sangy wanted me to do a post on Skincare as I am a skincare freak :D
So here I am with this post on peels!

Wikipedia defines a Chemical peel as a body treatment technique used to improve and soften the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution that causes dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the older skin.
That is hell lot of definition huh??But I am going to dish out some recipes for Do-It-Yourself peels :)
Peels usually need an adhesive to remove the dead skin cells hence u need either gelatine or corn starch!

·     Aloe Vera peel:
U need:
1.    Aloe Vera gel-2 teaspoons
2.    Cucumber juice-3/4 tablespoon
3.    Tomato juice-2 teaspoon
4.    Gelatine/Corn Starch-1 small packet/cup

Dissolve the gelatine by heating with the juice and gel. After it dissolves completely, Let it cool and apply all over your face and neck. Peel it off after 15-20 mins.If u are using corn starch mix all the ingredients and apply as it is :)

·     Honey peel:
U need:
1.    Honey-2 tablespoon
2.    Papaya-2/3 small pieces

Strain the papaya for the juice and mix it with honey. Apply and peel it off after 10-15 mins.U can add Banana for extra moisture :)

·     Grape peel:
U need:
  1. Grape juice- 2 tablespoon
  2. Gelatine/Corn Starch-1 small packet/cup
  3. Orange juice-1 teaspoon

Heat the gelatine with the juices till it dissolves absolutely and let it cool down. Apply it and peel it off after 10 mins. If u are using corn starch mix all the ingredients and apply as it is :)

U can add Egg White to any of the above peels as it provides skin firming benefits :)
Hope u like the post :) Do try out and tell me how it came about ;)

Love ya
Raaga

I'd love to know how effective or useful were these easy, DIY peels for you. Let me know if you have your own peels to add here *.*
