Hot, Hot, Hot Cocoa by Rimmel London

The weather this past winter has been cold and blustery.  I have found much comfort sipping a cup of hot chocolate while sitting in my living room watching the wind blow those white flakes through the air and the squirrels nibbling on (and ultimately stealing) the bird seed in our feeders.
So, when I saw this shade and tried it...... well, I just felt warm and fuzzy inside.  It reminds me of my favourite hot drink that has warmed me up many a day over the past months.

Introducing  Hot Cocoa 230 by Rimmel London......

Base Coat, 2 coats of Hot Cocoa by Rimmel London, Top Coat by ASK Cosmetics Inc. followed by a cuticle treatment of TIPS Nail Conditioner.

Remember:
  1. Always begin with a good quality base coat.  This is the foundation for all good, long-lasting manicures.  It also helps prevent yellowing of the nails while providing a "clear, even" palette for the colour.
  2. When applying polish stay well away from your cuticles.  Polish is very drying for both your nails and your cuticles, so minimize the dryness that could occur by using a clean 3 stroke method of applying lacquer and avoid getting to close to those precious cuticles.
  3. Finish off by applying top coat.  In order to maintain and prolong your beautiful manicure, re-apply top coat every 2 - 3 days.  This will add extra shine and protect the lacquer job even longer.

TIPS Nail Conditioner by ASK Cosmetics Inc. of Canada keeps my nails hydrated, fortified, protected against the damaging effects of water, strengthened yet flexible and is a great treatment for your cuticles too.  For more information about TIPS, visit  ASK Cosmetics' website.
