10. Manicure of your choice with black and white (28th Apr 2012)

More ~
Can use as many black or white polishes as you like with different finishes and slightly different shades, but black or white need to be seen.  You can layer, stamp over it, draw nail art, use a sticker, rhinestones,… but base polish must be visible. With sponging and water marble you can use as many colors as you like but black and white must be visible. You can also use color polish with 1. and 2. manicure, but do it in minimum if any at all. I know the black or white can look odd on nails, so it is OK if you do like a french tip (base of a nail need to be clear) or half nail (also clear base)

This challenge is created by Mateja of Purple Glitters. While there's Spring Challenge thats starting on April 14th, i wanna stick to this one ... So if you are interested stop by and know the rules and get going *.*
Its not about winning, its more about fun and challenging yourself... so don't be shy to play with the colors *.*

Today is 13th April and the challenge is to use 'Color Base with Black'. So here's what i came up with ~

Base Coat - Konad R61
Base Color - Revlon 356 Mushy Mauve
Black - L.A.Girl Professional Salon Formula
Brush - NAP 4 Nail Art Pen
Top Coat - Avon Nail Experts UV Gloss Guard

I wanted to make a Henna Tattoo print on Nails for pretty long time now. And i wanted a base color that looks pretty much like skin tone. In short a perfect nude!! So when i found this Revlon Mushy Mauve @Imax last weekend, i couldn't help but buy. I didn't knew then i would be using this for today's challenge but am very glad i did.
Mushy Mauve is the 'love at first swatch' i must say. Its such a gorgeous nude color with dull gold undertone. Can you imagine, gorgeous toned body with subtle gold body shimmer?? Yeah, thats the color am talking about *.*
I can see myself using this color quite often now, so any more challenges with color base am in *.*

So what do you think? Do you like my mani?

Thanks for watching, till next time.........

XoXo
Sangy

P.s - Not sure but i might try my hand at Spring Challenge too... Let's see!!
