Lately I have been feeling emotional drained.
I have been having conflicts with myself, mainly with my weight.
I am not really a confident person because of this issue.
Lately this and other issues just really made me tired and uninspired.
I'm really hoping to blog more and get my mind off of things.
One thing that made me look forward to the future is when I received great news.
Those who are following me on Instagram or Twitter might already know :)

I will be meeting my future husband (one of many)
Korean Hallyu Star Lee MinHo in the flesh in LA this month.
Who would have thought I would win a chance to meet him.

I thought it was fake at first, but I remembered I did enter the sweepstakes.
I am so blessed to have this opportunity. I will take lot of pictures and blog about it!!
Guys, I am so happy. (tears of joy).

I hope my joy radiates through the computer screen and that you all will have a fantastic day.

~ L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Vernis ~ Rebel Blue ~ Swatches ~ Review ~

I should have been doing some pink mani today, but then i couldn't resist trying out the Rebel blue from L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Vernis Collection. This is definitely one of my fave blues right now. Bright and pretty, it would be a great color to cheer up any dull and boring day!!
Anyways, here's my swatches ~

What I Love ~

  • Formula is creamy and pigmented and is heavenly to apply.
  • Consistency is nice and perfect, giving an opaque finish in one single stroke.
  • Brush is 'Oh~so~Perfect'. Thick, large and flat which makes the application super easy.
Where to buy ~
Would i buy again ~
  • Definitely i need those other colors too *.*

Have you tried any color from this range???

L'Oreal Color Riche ~ Pourpre Milla ~ 712 ~ Swatches!!

Its no secret that i love L'Oreal products. My foundation, lipsticks, shampoo, conditioner, eyeshadow.... you name it, i have it from L'Oreal. Not that i blindly just buy L'Oreal, its just that i end up loving their products everytime i give a try. And mostly lipsticks from L'Oreal are my absolute fave. And today am showing you one of my all time fav lipsticks from L'Oreal. Pourpre Milla from L'Oreal Star Secrets Collection is an absolute gorgeous color. Its definitely not a dark color as it shows when you look at the lipstick pic, swatch it and you would find a gorgeous shade, very irresistible, very soft and creamy, glides smooth and stays on for around 3-4 hrs without intake of food. If i have to describe the color, i should say sort of dark pink with hint of purple?? Okay never mind, its gorgeous shade and i just love it!!!

Why called Pourpre Milla??
In French Pourpre is Burgundy(say sort of purple color) and Milla is from Milla Jovovich
Star Secrets Collection is the story of 14 women - spokespeople for L'Oreal Paris Pro which include women(actresses, singers and models) from different regions of the world.
Much said, here's swatches ~

Actual Color ~

So what do you think of this beauty????

Thanks for stopping by, till next time....

L'Oreal Paris ~ Colour Riche Indian Shades ~ Mulberry 710 ~ Swatches, LOTD and Review

Every woman am sure is always running short of lipsticks on special occasions. So how different would i be?? So when the planned gift wasn't delivered even on 13th May, Mothers Day; my husband had to plan something else. Well let me tell you a secret here ~ he really goes blank when he has to pick something in short time. So again i was brought into picture and when asked obviously i wanted something related Cosmetics again. He was *shocked* as usual, according to him i have plenty and as for me i need many more *.*
So instead of asking for Nail Polishes which i quite often do i asked for a lipstick.Well it was my day
so without further delay we went to 'Health n Glow' Stores. This one is pretty near to my place and often has some offers going on. So clearly it was a good place to hit first.
I so wanted to check out 'Color Riche Nutri Shine' collection. All those gorgeous beautiful colors wanting to be tried....ahhh!!
I was so thrilled they had whole collection of colors from that range. And this sales girl was super nice and started swatching the colors for me. And from thrilled i was like shocked!! All the colors were kinda 'party wear'. Too much shine and shimmer and not even single color appealed at first glance to me. I love to party but i am not a party rocker... and besides i love my lipsticks that show my style!! Well i might try 'Guava Rose' other than that not sure if i would go anywhere near other shades from this collection... Do you have any suggestion from this collection for me???
So from there i jumped to another collection ~ Color Riche Indian Shades
And i picked the 'Mulberry 710', its so much close to 'Color Riche Star Secrets ~ Pourpre Milla' but when swatched to compare it was different so i had to have it. No doubt 'Pourpre Milla' has been my fav all time since i first swatched it, still i want so many other shades *.*

What it Claims (as on site) ~
* Intense Color with lasting Hydration for an Ultra-Glamorous Look
* Soft and Creamy texture leaves lips feeling moisturized smooth with a stunning finish
* Enriched with the combination of Omega-3 oils and Vitamin - E, its helps to protect lips from drying

My Take ~
* Intense Color ~ Yes
* Lasting Hydration ~ Yes
* Soft and Creamy ~ Yes
* Stunning Finish ~ Yes

Price
~ 785 INR

Though its pricey, i seriously think its all worth after looking at how gorgeous my lips look *.*

So here's swatches ~

Now isn't that a lovely-to-die for color??? *.*

Black and White Challenge Day 9 ~ Water Marble

I am actually running around to get things done and so this post is gonna be pretty short, just say pics and some talking *.*
I know you wouldn't hate me for this ....

Products Used -
Base Coat - Konad
Base Color - Lakme Color Crush 08
Other colors - L.A.Girl Disco Brites Vinyl Record, Lakme Color Crush 18, L'Oreal Paris Luminescence 314
Glitter Coat - L.A.Colors Star Light
Top Coat - Konad and Avon Nail Experts UV Gloss Guard

I haven't tried my hand at marbling before, so making patterns and creating a style was definitely out  of question today. But it seems pretty fun and i am sure i would seriously try this one fulfledge soon.
But meanwhile i tried creating a splash effect but with water marble. This pretty much reminded me of the pretty cotton scarves we get this Summer season in India, and also the unforgettable, festival of colors 'Holi'.

Hope everyone had a lovely day, mine was pretty hectic ..

Thanks for watching, till next time.....

NOTD : L'Oreal Paris ~ Le Sangre and some glitter!!

Like Illuminescence 314 from L'Oreal Paris, Le Sangre 414 is also one of the long-forgotten loves. I bought these two colors at lagos few months back. I know i must be crazy but then i bought these 2 colors 2 each thats makes me lil crazy i guess *.*
I thought i would give one each to my sis who sadly refused. She is not kinda girl who wears dark colors like me. I dont like dark colors, i love them be it nailcolors or even my dresses *.*
Coming to the point, Le Sangre is a kinda muddy brown with undertones of maroon. Its fuss free and non-streaky and what i love most about these L'Oreal colors is the applicator brush is quite good and covers my nails easily unlike others which have smaller brushes comparatively.
While a single coat might look little streaky if one is not generous with color when applying, 2 coats of nail color gives it a perfect opaque finish.
Here's the swatches ~

2 coats of Le Sangre 414, L'Oreal Paris

Brush of glitter on Tips

Glitter is China Made not sure about the name, maybe B.O is some name  *.*

Anyways Thanks for visiting, hope you liked my today's Mani *.*

If only Night was dark purple and Fire a gorgeous sparkly bluish green...

Hello Loves,
So, ever since my Dear H said i have way too many polishes that i haven't even been looking at, i decided to take out some random ones out of my stash and show'em some love.
I started with my oh-so forgotten L'Oreal Paris Illuminescense 314 which is a pretty dark purple with a very subtle shimmer, kind of hidden one.
Base Coat - Avon Smooth Beginnings
L'Oreal Paris - Illuminescense 314 (2 coats)
*sorry for the crappy finish*

Though a single coat is perfectly fine for opaqueness i still prefer 2 coats for its longer life.

Then to rev it ip, i brushed NYX 'Sea of Cortez' on the tips and finished it off with a top coat from Avon.
Here's how it looked at the end ~

Doesn't it remind you of dark night and mystical fire???

Till next time...
