For beauty and makeup junkies like me, favorites often change with season sometimes month too. So here's my first ever post like this talking about my March Favorites ~

Dove Damage Solutions Split End Rescue Systems

I have been sent this Shampoo and Conditioner for the review. Am glad they sent me out this one. It really did rescue my hair and made it much softer and manageable. I love the conditioner in particular as usual, Dove always has been my favorite brand when it comes to conditioners. Personally, i feel they have the best formula for the conditioners in general. Not that i have tried and compared with other conditioners but then i never had any complaint with Dove till now. So definitely must buy for me always and tops the March Favorites list.

Topshop Brighton Rock

Brighton Rock is indeed the best of the lot i got. Bright and neony, its perfect for Summer. It can make the face look bright with that pop of color. A must try if you can!! Bit pricey but worth it. Second in list of my March Favorites, you can view the swatches and read the review here

Elf Studio Lip Primer and Plumper

Lip Primers can be such a saviors if you are like me eating away the lipstick and gloss within few hrs of application. Without primer, lipstick doesn't stay too long for me even if its Long Lasting types. Besides, primed lips holds the color of the lipstick better and shows the actual color too. If you haven't tried a Lip Primer yet then its time you give a try.

Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Rendezvous

Balm Stains from Revlon are one of the Best Collections after Lip butters that are launched recently. And i can't have enough words for the shade Rendezvous which i picked along with Darling last time. Its such a pretty and summery color, bright one yet not too much into the face. Besides lips are hydrated because of the balm formula. Can't ask for more this summer!!

Forest Essentials Luxurious Ayurveda Sunscreen Lotion

Its light, non-greasy and absorbs well into the skin. Its fragrance is heavenly and luxurious and skin feels a touch of light chillness when applied which is probably due to Aloe Vera and Sandalwood in the formula. Doesn't feel heavy or look oily when applied like other sunscreens and instantly makes you fall in love with it!! Am so going to re-purchase this.

Konad Niju Girl Pretty Doll's Eyes Curling Mascara

One of my best purchases i must say. Its my Favorite Mascara and i really can't imagine myself without this one!! It certainly gives a doll like look to the lashes and i have always got compliments since i have been using this one. Must try if you haven't yet!!

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Berry Crush

One of the best lipbalms i have used till now. Subtle color with moisturizing effect of a balm, its a must buy product. Sometimes applying lipstick or lipgloss is tedious (lazy me, lol ^.^) and i found myself turning to this one often. Its quick to apply and never worry about its perfection like that of a lipstick, is what makes it so much more desirable!! This one in particular is a lovely color to start with, so if you haven't tried Baby Lips yet, its worth every rupee!

Auravedic Pure Aloe Vera Gel

Summers are blazing and skin often feels irritated due to constant heat and sweat with situation worsening factors like powercuts. Sometimes all i want to do is take a dip in cold water or atleast immerse my face into one atleast (which i often do..lol ^.^). This one came very handy, this gel on application makes skin relax and  definitely smooth. Heat rashes are definitely at bay which is common in summer (esp for me).

♥ Myntra Haul ♥

Since long time i wanted to grab a balm stain or two from Revlon since i read rave reviews from other beauty bloggers. At last when i spotted these on Myntra i couldn't wait!! I got Rendezvous and Darling from this Balm Stains collection. Revlon is one of my favorite brands when it comes to lipsticks. I absolutely love their 'Lip Butters Collection', i have about five from that. Well coming back to what i hauled, here's pics ~

♥ Topshop ~ Brighton Rock ~ Swatches ~ Review ♥

Out of the 4 Lipsticks i got from Topshop (you can view my haul post here) Brighton Rock is one of them. Its the first lipstick from left in the pic. Like you can see its a bright neony sort of pink!!

Note ~ Pics here actually don't show the brightness of the lipstick! If you haven't seen my Firmoo Review, click here to view. In the pics i am wearing Brighton Rock and there you can see how bright and neony the lipstick is!!

Out of the whole collection of Topshop Lipsticks, this one surely gets your attention immediately purely because of its catchy color!!

The only hitch with this lipstick is, though its creamy its kinda chalky too. Lips need to be primed and prepped well before reaching out to this neon beauty, else rest assured lips look like all aged and withered with color settling in the gaps. Dry Lips stay away!!

Though i am currently facing dry lips issue, when primed with my ELF Lip Primer (read my review here) and prepped with a swipe of balm over the lipstick, it was all good and perfect!! Though i must say using this lipstick alone left my lips looking very very dry!!

That said, Topshop has some amazing Lipstick shades. If you are a big fan of matte lipsticks and want some pop of color or a distinct shade, Topshop is the place to look for! They have these awesome lip crayons too which am hoping to try soon sometime, will keep you posted on that !

And best of all i absolutely love their packaging, its so very different from the lipsticks i own currently. Priced at 8 pounds, these are little expensive for a beauty on budget!!

Dupe Alert ♥ NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Vixen for Nars Volga Matte Pure Lipstick

Sometimes its pure fun and little excitement to find that what you bought recently is a big time hit somewhere and most of all you happened to get a dupe without even knowing !!

Jenny Smith, lead makeup artist at NARS, created the look for Dannijo's Jewelry Presentation in which she used Nars Volga Pure Matte Lipstick on Brunette Models.

Now the best part, i own a dupe of this gorgeous dark hue and it is NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Vixen.

Here's pics ~

NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Vixen is pretty much the closest dupe i found to Nars Volga Pure Matte Lipstick, except that Nars is matte and NYX is glossy. This lovely color can be build up by layering more for a much darker hue (i used 2 swipes in pic).

While NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils (currently not available on Nykaa too) cost around 425 INR, Nars Volga Pure Matte Lipstick costs around $26 and not yet available in India. So i guess i am pretty much happy that i got a dupe (atleast) for this gorgeous color that models rocked at Dannijo's Jewelry Presentation.

♥ ELF Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick ~ Movie Star ~ Swatches ♥

One of the best picks from recent ELF haul is this Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Moviestar. To see what all i got from ELF click here.

Out of 8 available Gloss Sticks, I only picked two Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks ~ Movie Star and Sangria Starters. You can view the other available shades here .

And today i have the swatches of Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Movie Star to share with you all. Here's the pics ~

Normally Movie Star Gloss Stick is a transparent Reddish Pink. Like usual it didn't stay much longer on me as i somehow tend to eat anything and everything i apply to lips (arrghhh.... am i alone??). But here in pics i have used ELF Lip Primer (will do the review soon) and Gloss stayed on for a pretty long time so i have big hopes for Lipsticks now  ^.^

Not just that, the color looked much pinkier when applied (with primer) and covered my now current dry lips. I couldn't have asked for more!! ^.^

Priced at $2, these gloss sticks are a steal!! I can't wait to get my hands on some more shades.........

♥ NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil ~ Deep Red ~ Swatches ♥

Another Lip Crayon from NYX, Deep Red is a gorgeous shade. It's a bit dark but very classy and hollywood like!! I love the creamy formula of these Lip Crayons from NYX and undoubtedly again my favorite purely for its color this time!!

Perfect for any kind of outfit, Deep Red is the best of the lot i got !!

♥ NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil ~ Vixen ~ Swatches ♥

This is one of the NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils i ordered recently from Nykaa. Check my Nykaa Haul here. Its pretty dark color, perfect for a Gothic or Vampire-ish look. But with dark lips so much in trend these days, its a perfect color to have in the stash too!! I personally prefer Lip Crayons more than Lipsticks just for the pure fun of having a change and besides i have been trying Lip Crayons alot lately and these from NYX, i must say are far more irresistible!!

Creamy, Super pigmented and super glossy, these are must try in Lip Crayons!!

♥ Nykaa Haul ♥

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably know that i shopped recently from Nykaa. Well here's what i got ~

They sent out the package in a cute heart shaped red box (parcel came on 13th feb)... so valentine-y *.*

I ordered NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils in Vixen, Deep Red and Hot Red!!

I already tried them and am so happy that i purchased these!! Priced at 425 INR each, they might sound expensive for a Lip Crayon but believe me these colors are amazing!!

I got the ColorBar Take me As I Am In Flirtatious Pink in a blog sale recently. And since then i have been just picking this up as my 'go-to' lipcolor. Its a pretty color, very creamy and easy to apply. And Lip Crayons are so much fun!! A nice change from the routine Lipsticks, they are long staying too.

When i saw the ad of Revlon with Emma Stone and Spring-perfect array of Lipbutters in Corals, Pinks and Pastels i decided i would try as many as possible. So i have for now 5 Revlon Lipbutters with me ~ Sweet Tart, Raspberry Pie, Peach Parfait, Cherry Tart and Berry smoothie. 

And today am showing you Revlon Lipbutter in Sweet Tart ..... ♥

What i ♥

What i don't ♥

• Needs a lip liner, if applied too much color bleeds at the corner of the lips.

• Expensive in India.
• Lipbutters are addictive, now i don't reach out to other lipsticks as much i do for Lipbutters (uhh is that good?? ^.^)

That said, this color might look little neony at first and then slowly sobers down. Might not suit all types of skin in my opinion. Fairer ones might find this very very appealing while darker toned skins might find this very neony on their lips.
