Thursday Theme ~ Saran Wrap Nails and some Glitter

If you have seen my yesterday's mani, it was based on the theme ~ Favorite Summer Color. And if you know me well, having a plain mani like that esp when the color is so gorgeous is a sin for me. I really had to do something about it and below you can see how i re-fashioned my mani *.*

~ Jewel Tipped French Mani ~

For long i have been stalking all the online stores that stocked Essie for this one polish ~ Luxeffects!

Call me crazy or whatever i love glitter. High end to local brands, if they have glitter am a game!!!

Well when i had chance to get some stuff (read very lil) i chose 4 polishes and all glitter *.*

Sounds crazy huh??? But any boring, matte and routine polish can be given a makeover with one coat of glitter. Now tell me!!!

So now you know why i stock glitters so much.

Anyways coming to today's mani, theme from Puja @ Cute Nails is French or Reverse French Mani.

Just Glitter!!

I haven't been really in a good mood lately, one being am suddenly super busy doing nothing and same time mind feels cluttered with things am yet to do. Though i everyday try to finish things, atleast half in the list, end of the day i feel i haven't done much. Do you also feel similar at times, or is it just me????

That apart everything is just fine and i continue to do my shopping *.*

Well like i said, busy feeling and cluttered mind needs to get things super fast, i opted for a mani that wouldn't take any part of the brain to work. Result am happy (for a change) with my mani ...

Day 4 ~ Bows and Glitter

I have been a lazy bum today, maybe not really, but i have slept for too long in the afternoon and later had a friend comeover and the day just passed in mins....

Only end of it i realised i am supposed to do a mani....arghhhh!!!

Its almost 11.30 PM here and being a weekend i didn't wanted to slog much *.*

So what i did was just .... nothing!! Just re-touched my mani, added 2 bows and some glitter...... and Voila!!!

Nail Juice 38 Nail Enamel ~ Models Own Hedonist Dupe

I was fortunate, my friend out of blue got me a set of nail colors from a brand called 'Nail Juice'. Its our very own Indian brand, Mfg by Lips & Tips Cosmetics, Raigad and Mktd by Vcare Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, New Delhi.

Well these colors are available on Snapdeal and what thrilled me most was the price. Not pricey and very fun colors to try. Once in a while i do try the local brands for the sheer pleasure of having a unique color or style on my nails. 

Okay now on to the main part, when i read the review of Modelsown Hedonist Nail Polish by lovely Lily and saw the swatches, i was like 'i want it, i need it' song in my head... yeah ofcourse there's some song with that line *.*

But wasn't sure if it would suit me, my nails like Lily's. And besides they are not available in India, so it was a dropped wish....

And when i saw this color in the lot, i literally jumped with joy. Did it suit me, my nails???

What I Love  ~

* Neons are in Fashion and so are Corals, and this color besides being so cheap and easy on pocket,

its not too much into the face.

* Suddenly i am in love with ~ Neons and Corals ~

* Application is easy and smooth, 2 coats coverage was quite opaque, yet like usual i did 3 *.*

* Perfect for the Indian Summer thats on..

* Its a Pinky coral with undertones of light Red. Hard to capture the true color as its very neon.

* Its a bright and summery color, very apt for day and the late evening summer parties..

* Above all its seriously a dupe for Modelsown Hedonist, whats more to know to love??

Day 2 ~ Love Cats!!

Today's theme is Animals and all day while i was neck deep lost in work, my mind was continuously thinking of what should be my mani today. ~ Dots and Hearts ~

You know me, sometimes plain nails just bore me after few hrs and i need to do something about it. Though i mostly glitter-fy my nails, these days i have been reaching to nail art. Though i love stamping am still pretty bad at it and that still doesn't bother me to try it often *.*

Also doing free-hand is not only fun but also improves the precision. Though at times it doesn't give a neat look it still has its own charm....

So i opted for my Jordana Pop Art Nail Design Precision Brush in Black to make some dots and hearts. Here's pics ~

CQ Scherer Nail Polish in Rouge ~ Review and Swatches

I was looking for a perfect Hollywood Red which instantly appeals me and make me fall in *Love*.

And i think i found it.

The CQ Scherer Nail Polish in Rouge is all that and more. Its such a gorgeous Red its hardly a miss in anyone's eye. And the polish brushes on smoothly leaving no streaks behind. Dries quickly and seems it hardly needs a top coat for that nice shiny look. Its thick sort of creamy, not at all gloopy like some nail polishes do. My major complaint with most of the nail polishes is that either the color is streaky needs more coats for the opaque look or the brush is quite small and doesn't apply well. Well here i have no such things to say. Instead the quick drying and single coat being opaque enough made me a happy bunny *.*

I know its too early to say but this is my Holy Grail polish right now esp in Rouge/Red and i plan on adding more to my collection from this brand. And i definitely recommend this to any one if you are as lazy and choosy like me ...
