♥ Topshop ~ Brighton Rock ~ Swatches ~ Review ♥

Out of the 4 Lipsticks i got from Topshop (you can view my haul post here) Brighton Rock is one of them. Its the first lipstick from left in the pic. Like you can see its a bright neony sort of pink!!

Out of the whole collection of Topshop Lipsticks, this one surely gets your attention immediately purely because of its catchy color!!

The only hitch with this lipstick is, though its creamy its kinda chalky too. Lips need to be primed and prepped well before reaching out to this neon beauty, else rest assured lips look like all aged and withered with color settling in the gaps. Dry Lips stay away!!

Though i am currently facing dry lips issue, when primed with my ELF Lip Primer (read my review here) and prepped with a swipe of balm over the lipstick, it was all good and perfect!! Though i must say using this lipstick alone left my lips looking very very dry!!

That said, Topshop has some amazing Lipstick shades. If you are a big fan of matte lipsticks and want some pop of color or a distinct shade, Topshop is the place to look for! They have these awesome lip crayons too which am hoping to try soon sometime, will keep you posted on that !

And best of all i absolutely love their packaging, its so very different from the lipsticks i own currently. Priced at 8 pounds, these are little expensive for a beauty on budget!!

~ Revlon Haul ~

After my fitness class i took a leisure walk back home (its was kinda cloudy about to rain sort of) and first on the list was to pick hair pack brush. I hate getting my fingers tinted or messy, so idea was to pick 2 brushes min. Well when i entered 'Health n Glow' there was this big heap of Polishes. Like someone hypnotized i just walked to the big box of Polishes and was quite happy at the sight. Sounds insane right??? Well i love looking at colors esp if they are Polishes and Lipsticks. And then i picked quite a few stuff. But most exciting was my Revlon stuff..

And today am showing you the same ^.^

So what do you love most about my Haul?? I love everything and am feeling super crazy right now ^.^

~ Violet Bag Haul ~

I am a big fan of polishes anyday and my all time fav timepass is to just browse through shopping sites, drooling and planning, making notes of stuff i want, i need and i love!!

Well, in no particular order; but when it comes to actual shopping, i let my fancy rule my head for once(quite often i must confess). In such a weak moment i saw the new collection of polishes from L'Oreal Paris. Need i say more??? I ordered 3 L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Vernis to see if i would really love their formulas and finish from the collection.

I ordered ~  Lush Tangerine, Rebel Green Khaki and Goldfinger Gold polishes. My bad luck they were out of stock with Green Khaki and Gold polish. I got Lush Tangerine and Rebel Blue. You say Rebel Blue??? Yep they reverted the money for the two polishes and for not being able to send those 2, they sent me Rebel Blue as complimentary!!! OMG, i seriously didn't mind and infact jumped with joy for getting such a lovely polish as complimentary. Sometimes its that lil care that gets me hooked!!! 

These polishes are priced at 225 INR across all the Shoppersstop Outlets and other major malls including Violet Bag. If looking for competitive price, headover to Stylecraze which are selling these polishes at 213 INR. 

But if you are looking for particular shades checking swatches online, check both sites. Violet Bag has more and different colors than Stylecraze. Still many shades(beautiful and gorgeous) are not yet available in India(pathetic).

I also bought two more lipsticks from Maybelline ColorSensational Moisture Extreme Lipcolors ~ Coral Pink and Bronze Orange.

As you can see i already tried Bronze Orange and its just gorgeous, swatches and LOTD coming soon *.*

~ 2 New Lippies ~

My friend got me these and i seriously love 'Maybelline Watershine Lipstick in Lacquered Brown'. Its very different from the shades i have (i mostly own pinks and the ones from same family) so its a pleasant change. It looks natural when swiped only once and very lightly. And i haven't yet used 'NYC Petal' so no comments on that yet but its smells nice so i am eager to try ...

Well more on that and the swatches later, for now i just wanted to share what i got *.*

For a change i moved to lipsticks more instead of lipgloss this summer and i must confess i have been loving every bit of it.

I don't follow any rules, i often do what i love!! So no wonder while others find gloss perfect for summer i feel lipstick is what i want!! Well i do have many lipsticks stocked some not even swatched but i know what i am in love with lately....

What i Love ~

• The color has hint of coral(atleast it shows when swatched on my lips) which is so perfect for the Summer.
• Formula is creamy and hydrating with luminous finish.
• The packaging, am a sucker for lovely pretty things!!!

Second one ~

L'Oreal Color Riche ~ Pourpre Milla

What i Love ~

• The color, its a gorgeous pink shade with undertones of burgundy
• The color is pretty rich and intense which i totally love!
• Formula is very creamy, glides smoothly and makes lips look luscious

Third One ~

L'Oreal Color Riche ~ Mulberry

 What i Love ~

• The color is rich and intense
• The color has undertones of pink, which i am a sucker for!
• Formula is soft, creamy, hydrating with a stunning finish.

Last  One ~

L'Oreal Color Riche ~ Star Secrets ~ Eva Pink Romance

 What i Love ~

• Its creamy, soft and leaves lips luscious and hydrating
• The color is pale pink, so pale it almost looks like the very natural color of the lips, perfect for office wear.

Revlon Overload???

I was on way back to India earlier this year, and on flight i happened to see the Duty Free Shopping Catalogue. These were so tempting mainly for the packaging and next, the colors. And mostly importantly it being limited edition and it was like cheap!!! 5 lipsticks + 1 Free lipstick all at 1800 INR?? That too from Revlong 'drool' ....  *.*

Now this single lipstick costs 650-700 INR. Hmmm wasn't that an awesome deal for me??? 

All said, the colors/shades i have are yet not totally available online or otherwise (seriously limited edition???? whoaa!!! ). Worst part there are some other shades available online that am really drooling at!!!

L'Oreal Color Riche ~ Pourpre Milla ~ 712 ~ Swatches!!

Its no secret that i love L'Oreal products. My foundation, lipsticks, shampoo, conditioner, eyeshadow.... you name it, i have it from L'Oreal. Not that i blindly just buy L'Oreal, its just that i end up loving their products everytime i give a try. And mostly lipsticks from L'Oreal are my absolute fave. And today am showing you one of my all time fav lipsticks from L'Oreal. Pourpre Milla from L'Oreal Star Secrets Collection is an absolute gorgeous color. Its definitely not a dark color as it shows when you look at the lipstick pic, swatch it and you would find a gorgeous shade, very irresistible, very soft and creamy, glides smooth and stays on for around 3-4 hrs without intake of food. If i have to describe the color, i should say sort of dark pink with hint of purple?? Okay never mind, its gorgeous shade and i just love it!!!

Why called Pourpre Milla??

In French Pourpre is Burgundy(say sort of purple color) and Milla is from Milla Jovovich

Star Secrets Collection is the story of 14 women - spokespeople for L'Oreal Paris Pro which include women(actresses, singers and models) from different regions of the world.

Lakme Lip Love Lipstick ~ Aphrodite Blush ~ Swatches and Review!!

Sometimes you come across lipsticks which change the whole opinion about a brand altogether. Once upon a time i was a big fan of Lakme, seeing my aunts raving about it, thats all i wanted to try then. Then came Maybelline, L'Oreal and Revlon, and i jumped to these awesome ones. And recently when i came across Aphrodite Blush from Lakme Lip Love Lipstick collection i was in awe..

I must say i was super impressed with this color. Its nothing like i used or had before. And suddenly Lakme again is one of my fav brands now. Too early to judge that too with single lipstick swatch?? Well i am like that!!

What's not so Good ~

Colors in the Collection ~ Mostly Neutrals, Nudes and Softer/Sober colors. Some find it a bit boring when compared to collections launched by other Brands

Price ~ Overpriced according to some
Lasting time ~ Average and needs a re-application after 4 hrs(after food) and more

As for me am so very happy with Aphrodite blush that i don't mind getting another shade from this collection and if i do its definitely Strawberries and Cream, its such a pretty mauvish color and besides i have never enough lipstick shades to wear *.* 'wink' 'wink'
