Dupe Alert ♥ NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Vixen for Nars Volga Matte Pure Lipstick

Sometimes its pure fun and little excitement to find that what you bought recently is a big time hit somewhere and most of all you happened to get a dupe without even knowing !!

Jenny Smith, lead makeup artist at NARS, created the look for Dannijo's Jewelry Presentation in which she used Nars Volga Pure Matte Lipstick on Brunette Models.

Now the best part, i own a dupe of this gorgeous dark hue and it is NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Vixen.

NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Vixen is pretty much the closest dupe i found to Nars Volga Pure Matte Lipstick, except that Nars is matte and NYX is glossy. This lovely color can be build up by layering more for a much darker hue (i used 2 swipes in pic).

While NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils (currently not available on Nykaa too) cost around 425 INR, Nars Volga Pure Matte Lipstick costs around $26 and not yet available in India. So i guess i am pretty much happy that i got a dupe (atleast) for this gorgeous color that models rocked at Dannijo's Jewelry Presentation.

Mesh Stretch Bangle Bracelet ~ Topshop Dupe

This time i wasn't planning on buying or hunting for a dupe. I just happened to buy mine first and then see this lovely white mesh bracelet on Topshop site.

Though i really love my stretchy mesh bangle bracelet, i would have loved in white more. Nothing specific about colors but this one in particular, i feel white just stands out when compared to my Teal one.

Mango ~ Bracelet Loops Dupe

I am kinda stalker when it comes to brands like Mango. I love their clothes and jewelry and esp the styling done on the mannequins put up in the display. So like always i kept a track of what kinda jewelry i wanna buy(some day) and this particular piece of jewelry impressed me. Well i remember wearing something similar as a teen, so saved it to my favs thinking someday i will definitely own. Just few months when i totally forgot about it, i saw this bracelet in a local beauty shop. 

I was like give me that first before anyone sees it...ssshhhhhh!!!! My friend didn't find it much lovely but she didn't knew then that its exactly a dupe of the 'Bracelet Loops' one can find in Mango online store.

Nail Juice 38 Nail Enamel ~ Models Own Hedonist Dupe

I was fortunate, my friend out of blue got me a set of nail colors from a brand called 'Nail Juice'. Its our very own Indian brand, Mfg by Lips & Tips Cosmetics, Raigad and Mktd by Vcare Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, New Delhi.

Well these colors are available on Snapdeal and what thrilled me most was the price. Not pricey and very fun colors to try. Once in a while i do try the local brands for the sheer pleasure of having a unique color or style on my nails. 

Okay now on to the main part, when i read the review of Modelsown Hedonist Nail Polish by lovely Lily and saw the swatches, i was like 'i want it, i need it' song in my head... yeah ofcourse there's some song with that line *.*

But wasn't sure if it would suit me, my nails like Lily's. And besides they are not available in India, so it was a dropped wish....

And when i saw this color in the lot, i literally jumped with joy. Did it suit me, my nails???

What I Love  ~

* Neons are in Fashion and so are Corals, and this color besides being so cheap and easy on pocket,

its not too much into the face.

* Suddenly i am in love with ~ Neons and Corals ~

* Application is easy and smooth, 2 coats coverage was quite opaque, yet like usual i did 3 *.*

* Perfect for the Indian Summer thats on..

* Its a Pinky coral with undertones of light Red. Hard to capture the true color as its very neon.

* Its a bright and summery color, very apt for day and the late evening summer parties..

* Above all its seriously a dupe for Modelsown Hedonist, whats more to know to love??
