I wanted to use eye stick for a long time
After I saw professionals use them in Get it Beauty
and wanted one for my own since!

At the very end of this product there is this sponge
to smear the eye stick on.

I was surprised the color change when you smear it
I think I could do various type of makeup with this product!

This product is water proof so I tested the water proofing
there was no rubbing off with water.
I rub till the water dried out and found no smearing or rubbing off

However there was bit stickiness when I blink with this on.
and I like smearing it on to give a gradation look.
Well, that's matter of taste :P

[Korean Cosmetic Makeup Blogger] Innisfree Eco Pencil Set! Korean Style Makeup

I think I'm in a time in my life when everything seems to go lost
I'm working on as a Pet Beautist and yet trying to find some time in my life
to try breeding pups.... however there is so much to learn!
Things just pill on and on and it's one of those days
I just don't feel like doing anything.
EXCEPT MAKEUP XD

I think I might be Makeup Holic!

Today I'll be introducing yet another Eye makeup product!
XD
I love the color concept this eye pencil has~
They took colors from plants that is going extinct!
This is set 1
You could find other sets of colors for eye makeup~
Nature Gold / Nature Coal / Natur Brown

The product package is made eco friendly~
and has 4 free system which means
they made this as safe for the skin as possible

I love the flower pictures

On the back of the pencils it says
Smooth Drawing possible!
Thick color Eyeliner~

The pencil feel soft but they are very stiff you gotta draw them real fast before they dry up! or they would turn hard and it's hard to spread them.
This also means it last longer and those pearls will not fall

Gold : almost white! I love how there are thick pearl Perfect for underlines~

Coal : Almost Orange! This also has soft colors and a lot of pearl making it cute for underlines~

Brown : Pearl is less than other colors but I like the dark colors

How to Use These Color~
Korean Style Makeup Tips

Use Gold pencil to do the underlines

Use Brown Pencils to do the doted parts for a soft eye line

Than use the Coal color for overall highlight!

Do you like how it turned out?

Leave a comment below and let me know~

Make-up Tip #2 - Safe Tightlining of Your Eyes

I've always wondered whether tightlining was ever safe for the eyes, because the waterline is just a few milimetres away from our eyeballs. Seems like the chances of getting eye infection would be high if you tightline... I used to think....

But then I realised that tightlining does not mean lining your waterline.

Make-up Tip #2 - Line your lashline, to have fuller lashes

a very shimmery purple nail polish;
a Special Edition Glossy Tube which smells like bubblegum;

NYX Jumbo Eyeliner Pencil in Milk has finally arrived!

After seeing a lot of videos on YouTube featuring this product, I decided to give it a go.  So I went on ebay and found this one for around €4.  I feared this might not arrive though because right after I paid for it, ebay sent me an email notification informing me that they have removed the listing because there was some kind of breach against their policy from the seller's side.  I contacted the seller but she said she had already shipped my item and ta da!! Today I got it! All packaged in cute pink paper wrap, a little green ribbon tucked in a bubble-wrap envelope :) Here are the photos:

Review will follow after I give this a through test :)

Review: e.l.f. Limited Edition Christmas Get the Look Set Day to Night

Hi cupcakes! I'm back with another e.l.f. review!

In the beginning of December/late November, I received this set from e.l.f. cosmetics.  I spent ages going ooh and how cute around the house before I oohed and awed even more on swatching the eyeshadows and trying  out the mascara, pencil and eyeliner :D  Here are some pictures to show you what I am talking about:

I really like the packaging on all these Christmas Sets with the snowflake motifs but due to lack of space, I had thrown it away :(  The set features two eyeshadow trios (Day - purples + gold & Night - black, green and frosty white), A Brightening Eyeliner in Black, Lengthening and Defining Mascara in Black and a Liquid Eyeliner in Black as well as two sponge applicators which are not shown as I felt they were too coarse to use on my eyes and threw them away altogether.

The Eyeshadows

The eyeshadows are really pigmented but not as sparkly as they look in the pans, except for the black and white shades which are really sparkly indeed!  With regards texture, they are a bit on the powdery side so I never risk not using a very good primer underneath these eyeshadows (I use an elf eyelid primer and Persimmon All Over Colour Stick Combo/cream eyeshadow to provide a good sticky base).  When a primer is used, these really last a long time without smudging or fading away.  However, even though the set is named Day to Night, I find the colours a bit too strong for day-wear; but maybe that's just me!  On a side note, the white shade arrived broken and its powder was all over the inside of the eyeshadow box.  I can't complain though as it was for sent to me for free!

The Mascara, Liquid Eyeliner and Brightening Eye Pencil

As I mentioned before, the set also contains a Lengthening and Defining mascara, liquid eyeliner and a pencil eyeliner all of which are black.  I really like the intensity of the black on these three and the mascara is my favourite one! It gives my lashes some more length and separates them for a fanned-out effect without clumping and it lasts all day!  The liquid eyeliner lasts until I take it off but the pencil fades away after a couple of hours just like most other pencils.  Overall I am really happy with all this though :) I am a bit disappointed because there is no other mascara named the same as this one in the set and I really really like it.

Swatches left to right: Brightening Eyeliner Pencil, Liquid Eyeliner, Lengthening and Defining Mascara

Like I said, I got this set for free but it is now on sale from the elf website for €6.35 instead of €8! Hurry as this stock is limited edition! P.S. Right now e.l.f. are also offering Free Standard Shipping (ends today at midnight)!

Review: e.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pens in Black & Coffee

I can never get enough of eyeliner! I normally use pencil eyeliners to line my lower lash line. A slick of eyeliner just elevates a look to a whole new level and I really love that!

Whilst browsing the e.l.f. website, I was intrigued by these eyeliner pens mostly because of the pen format and the fact that they are waterproof. I decided to get two of them to try them out... Black and Coffee. I chose two neutral colours to give these a go and at £1.50 each, I wasn't going to break bank was I? Apart from Coffee and Black, there are also Ash, Midnight and Plum. You can have a look at them here.

What they say...

Get no smudge, no budge eyeliner that lasts for hours for a fabulous and fresh look of precision. The smooth pen applicator easily glides on color for very fine to bold lines for effortless beauty.
Directions

Hold applicator at a slight angle and apply color to the base of the lashes. Use a light touch for thin lines or a firmer touch for thicker lines. To remove easily use a water based makeup remover. Best stored tip down for ultimate color saturation.

What I say...

As usual, let's start with how the pens look. Their sleek, glossy black format rivals elf's studio line package. If you look at them from the side, they look like a concave lens, but one end is thicker than the other. Here's a picture so that you can get an idea of the size of the pens (I have very small hands mind you):

The colour of the pen is written on a sticker bearing the colour itself on the bottom of the pen. There is also the product name written in silver across one side of the pens. My Coffee one only has half of this present but that's not really a problem for me as I just look at the side and I know which pen is which without having to turn it upside down to check. To open, just pull out the cap!

On opening, you will immediately notice the fine tip of the eyeliner (very much similar to a ball pen, only thinner; refer to photo on the left for comparison). I don't know why but my Coffee eyeliner seems to have more of its tip out than my Black one but again, it's not a problem as it doesn't affect application of the product. The application is in fact the same as with other eyeliners but the sleek and sturdy pen design makes for an easier grip and a more steady application. Furthermore, the eyeliners are very pigmented and thus there is no need to rub at your eyes to get the product to mark.

Now let's come to the interesting part... are these eyeliner pens really waterproof?
Here's a swatch of the eyeliner pens (black is on top):

I have applied them in thick lines just for the sake of them coming out well in the photo because in reality, they stain a thin line.

Here's how they look after I ran water on them (I allowed 1 minute for them to dry):

There is no colour run or anything!

And finally here's how they look when I budged them while my hand was still wet:

As you can clearly see, the Coffee eyeliner is no longer there whilst the black one is intact. However, when I go swimming I usually use the Coffee eyeliner as it is more natural and it never budged! I guess it just needs more time to dry. On the other hand, there are no problems with the black one.

Overall, I like these eyeliner pens and would definitely repurchase along with some other colours maybe hehe!
