Teeny Weeny Hair Haul

When it comes my hair, I'm pretty damn boring with it. So buying a few new hair bits is a bit novelty to me as i usually stick to my tried and tested ol' favourites. I needed new dry shampoo, love volumising products and had had my eye on trying out a salt spray for quite a while now, so with all of these being on offer in Superdrug at half price or less i snapped up all three!

Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo
Generally Batiste gets right up my nose. There aren't any fragrances i've liked and i generally find them waaay too powdery for my liking and with my mostly black / dark coloured wardrobe, no one likes looking like a dandruf snowglobe! But... I'm a sucker for anything cherry scented and at around £1.50 wasn't breaking the bank if i didn't like it.

I already love it. It smells like summer. Its beautiful. I've used this for the last two days and i cannot stop sniffing my hair it smells that good! Does leave a bit of stickiness if you over spray... BUT IT SMELLS SO GOOOOD!

VO5 Plump Me Up Dry Shampoo

I've only had a chance to try this once, but its nowhere near as powdery as any of the Batiste ones I've tried in the past, so it gets an initial thumbs up from me. Not overly volumising from what I've seen so far, but just the fact it isn't powdery is good enough! I couldn't find either of the dry shampoo's online to link you lovelies but keep your eye out in your local Superdrug for them.

So thats my ickle haul. I *should* have some new beauty goodies to share with you before my holiday, that is if they arrive in time. And i've got a few travel posts lined up too. So as per usual I'm off to stalk the post man. hehe.

My Experience ~

• 'Puff directly into the hair' is out of question. This dry shampoo comes in a bottle which normally is used for Shampoos or Shower Gels or Lotions, so when you try to puff, the bottle dispenses insanely large amount and its hard to spread. So best bet is to take it into hands and work through.
• It does a very good job of sucking up the oil/greasiness from hair but at same time leaves a sort of whitish overcast on my dark colored hair. This unfortunately makes my hair look dull and lifeless. 
• Should be great for someone with blonde hair color or say even grey hair(no offense) but someone with dark colored hair should steer clear.
• If that was less, i can find powder marks on my clothes after i use. So i always put on a robe or towel around so i don't mess up my clothes.
• The Best thing  about this Dry shampoo is the fresh citrus scent it leaves in the hair and the quick way it sucks up the oil.

What i Like ~

• Citrus Scent 
• Quick way greasy hair turns fresh

What i don't Like ~ 

• Bottle Dispenser
• Whitish overcast on my hair

Would i re-purchase this again? I don't think so!!  

Note to Self ~

Try transferring the contents into a bottle, like a talc dispenser which would dispense rather less amount of powder making it easy to work with. 

Not sure if the amount reduction would help in anyway, yet; before i toss it off i would like to give a last chance to it... after all 760 INR do matter!!

Will keep you updated on that one, but instead of powder i would prefer an aerosol one like the Dry Shampoo from label.m, London i bought recently from 365Gorgeous.
